We’re often ask to recommend the optimum surface for driveways, and although there are perfectly acceptable alternatives like asphalt, concrete or even gravel we can’t help but favour block paving. Here’s why it works so well:

• The nature of the product and the way the blocks are laid makes the surface tough and durable – likely to stay as good as new for 25 years or more.
• There are numerous paving styles available so there’s something to complement and enhance any building, from cobbles to clean cut contemporary – and numerous colour options too.
• Block paving is permeable, reducing run-off and strain on drainage systems.
  If blocks in the driveway become damaged they can be easily raised and replaced without having to disturb the entire paved area.
• Block paving is low maintenance – it can be regularly scrubbed clean with no more than a broom, some washing-up liquid and warm water.
• Good substrate preparation and the tightly packed blocks prevent weed ingress, so your driveway will stay tidy and clean.
